MISSION
BLASS (Black, LatinX, Asian, Science Society) is an organization designed to build community, leadership, and professional development amongst students of color majoring in the sciences. This includes but is not limited to Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Global Health, HESS, Mathematics, and Physics.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Members of BLASS are those who will be met with a network of students and staff in a supportive environment that carries out our mission to uplift BIPOC students pursuing STEM. This includes career advice, resources, expanding your network, and overall support for applying for graduate school.
GOALS
BLASS hopes to expand our presence on Denison’s campus to strengthen our resources and network with students. Our mission is one that can only be pursued by the assistance of students and staff who also share the same ideas. We hope to create more connections and bonds with staff and faculty in and out of Denison.
