Tin2Table is looking to hire 1-2 part-time employees/interns to help introduce a highly acclaimed, leading brand of tinned fish (Sardines, Mackerel)/seafood (Octopus, Mussels) from Portugal into the United States. It is a 3rd generation family business that uses the same artisanal, hand packed process since it launched in 1911. We also have a deep commitment to sustainability and believe strongly in responsible use of our marine resources.
The category of tinned fish/seafood has exploded in the last three years, and we have a brand that is as good – if not better – than most of the other options available today. We currently have national distribution in 270 stores across the country with one major retailer and wish to rapidly increase the number of specialty retail stores and other outlets carrying our product.
Job Title: Brand Ambassador
Reports to: Company owner(s)
Role and responsibilities
Identifying key decision makers whilst developing and qualifying new business opportunities within the targeted markets
Engaging with new prospective customers; following up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
Communicating directly with potential customers (answering questions about the products, suggesting ways they could help promote the products to their customers, sending additional information per email)
Maintaining a CRM database (Salesforce) of all contacts, activity etc.
Establish and implement a social media strategy to engage and educate current and potential customers on the brand.

Strong oral and written communication skills
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Organized and focused
A go-getter attitude and someone who thrives by bootstrapping and thinking creatively
You’re a foodie through and through-Passionate about how food is prepared, tastes and presented.
Currently a sophomore, junior or senior in college/university; open to recent graduates as well
Personal connection to (or interest in) Portugal/Spain and/or tinned fish/conservas would be great but not required
Interested in gaining some valuable sales and marketing experience in the specialty/gourmet food industry that can bolster your resume and assist with future job searches
Eager to engage and reach out to potential clients and helping them to become familiar with our brand, how it tastes and all of the wonderful ways it may be prepared and eaten
Compensation
$15/hour plus a bonus tied to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) being achieved.
Hours
Total of 20 hours per week between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM Central time. Possibility of increasing to 35-40 hours per week if it is the right person, they are enjoying the role and achieving success.
Location
Remote/Home-based position from anywhere in the United States. No need to travel.
Start Date
Flexible. No later than May 1. Could be as early as April 1.
