The Eisner Production Assistant will assist the Production Manager with shepherding the many productions at Eisner from the planning stages to strike. By maintaining information sources that all participants in Eisner productions utilize, the PA will help productions run as efficiently as possible. The Production Assistant should be detail-oriented and able to complete tasks without direct supervision once trained. An understanding of the process of live performance is preferred, although not required. At first, the PA should expect to work ~2-3 hours a week, although that could expand as the role develops.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail: Accuracy in information management, proofreading, and other tasks
- Administrative skills: Ability to utilize Google Suite and other software to manage calendars and databases
- Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate potential issues and come up with ways to address them
- Independence: Willingness to complete work without direct supervision and problem-solve first before asking for help
- Team Player: Understanding that all contributions are part of a larger project’s success
