PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT DENISON EDGE IN COLUMBUS
There can be some flexibility with remote days, but the position is primarily in person. On-campus housing will not be provided.
Denison Edge prides itself on delivering effective experiential, skills-building and programs for Liberal Arts students and working professionals. Our programs cover a wide range of subject matter and industries. The key to our success is largely dependent on the ability of our team to think innovatively, be creative, work collaboratively, and act quickly… and have lots of fun doing so!
We’re currently searching for a savvy Content Creator Intern to join our team to help generate brand awareness, while developing creative content throughout the summer.. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, strong communication skills, think creatively, and is comfortable with ambiguity.
Objectives of this Role:
- Identify opportunities to improve the Denison Edge social media presence (IG, LinkedIn, FB, TikTok)
- Build and manage TikTok account from the ground up
- Generate interest and excitement around Denison Edge + CX Innovation Lab
- Partner with the Marketing Director to brainstorm and develop social media strategies for Denison Edge
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Develop social content via Canva, InDesign or Photoshop
- Promote creative content on social media
- Help Denison Edge build a larger following across social media platforms
- Build creative posts for upcoming programs and events
- Take pictures of events and programs that can be used in the future
- Monitor social conversations about Denison Edge
- Help manage content calendar
- Assist in the writing of digital marketing copy and social media captions
- Assist in setting up paid advertisement campaigns
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic video production & editing content skills are strongly preferred
- Understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Interest in and awareness of cultural and social trends
- Exceptional communication skills, including strong grammar and spelling
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Have basic video production experience
- Understand and can use Canva, InDesign or Photoshop
