Intern Program Interns are dedicated to a specific team or site for 10-12 weeks while participating in our formalized Summer Internship Program. The goal of the program is to enhance students’ business acumen through continuous learning and networking opportunities.

Throughout the summer, interns have the opportunity to:

  • -Participate in on site and general intern program onboarding
  • -Join in a series of live sessions that focus on professional development, communication and presentation skills
  • -Listen to and ask questions of our leadership through our Executive Speaker Series
  • -Participate in site overview presentations, giving interns an understanding of different sectors, locations, and customers within the organization
  • -Collaborate with other interns across the U.S. and Canada on a Capstone Project that focuses on improving various aspects of our business for our customers
  • -Travel to Westerville, OH to present their Capstone Project to leadership teams at the Intern Capstone Event, which is hosted at the end of each summer at our North American headquarters
  • -Network with other interns and business leaders across all regions and business segments within the organization
  • -All interns are considered for full time roles

College Recruit Program Recent college hires are part of the College Recruit Program for the first two years of their full-time employment with DHL Supply Chain. The goal of the program is to help newly hired College Recruits acclimate to the culture of the company, complete trainings on time, and develop skills necessary to navigate their career with us. Program components include:

  • -Six one-on-one coaching sessions throughout the first two years with College Recruiting Program Manager
  • -Mentoring from a recent College Recruit who has been with the company for 2-4 years, through the Buddy Program
  • -Attend College Recruit Training Week within their first year of hire
  • -Classroom and eLearning opportunities
  • -Career development help and feedback
  • -Webinars on topics relevant to growth and development

Throughout the first two years, College Recruits will not only gain the skills necessary to be successful in their current and future roles, they will also develop their internal professional network. Networking Opportunities occur through College Recruit Training Week, the Buddy Program, and career movement.
