NetJets Coffee Chat: Recruiter Q&A

I attended the NetJets Coffee Chat at the Knowlton Center for Career Exploration on September 28th and had the opportunity to interview one of NetJets employees, Logan Brewer. Logan has been working at NetJets for two and a half years, and his current role is to manage the inside sales team. I was able to learn further about the company and gain an understanding of his insights through my interview with him.

What does NetJets do?

Logan described NetJets as the largest and leading private aviation company. Based on a customer’s needs, NetJets offers a card program, leasing, or fractional ownership of their private jets with the same access and luxury as owning your own plane.

What is the best part about working at NetJets?

His favorite part of working at the company is the people. He emphasized that as a NetJets employee, you are fully supported by all of your coworkers, no matter their role.

What is does an internship at NetJets look like?
He characterized the internship experience at NetJets as project-based. An intern contributes by tying projects to current business needs while also developing their skills and knowledge.

How a student can stand out with opportunities at NetJets?

Logan explained that they look for competitiveness, a team mentality, someone who is curious, asks questions, and has a desire to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Following up after meeting a recruiter and keeping in touch is also important.

What is your general advice on exploring careers?

He stressed to not put yourself in a box and to be open to new opportunities. A willingness to explore new opportunities allowed him to have the role he does at NetJets.
