Hello! My name is Daniel Seely and I am a Peer Career Coach in the Knowlton Center this year! I am a senior from Columbus majoring in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics with a minor in Music Performance. When I’m not at the Knowlton Center, you can find me down at Eisner playing in the Orchestra, Bluegrass Band, and String Quartet. Outside of the classroom I am very active in student government, Greek life, and religious life. I served as Student Body President last year and will continue to serve the senior class as a Senator this year. Off-campus, I volunteer for the Young Life ministry at Granville High School. In my free time, I love to play music with friends, cook, and workout. One fun fact about me is that I got engaged over the summer! After Denison, I will be moving back to Columbus to begin my career as a Senior Accountant at Nationwide!

As a Peer Coach, I can help you write resumes and cover letters, build LinkedIn and Handshake profiles, equip you with Knowlton Connect resources, walk through career search questions, and connect you with other coaches.
Beginning your career/internship search can cause a lot of anxiety. There may be moments where you feel like you are way behind the in the process or even have no idea where to start. All of the peer coaches have been there before and we are here to help. Personally, the Knowlton Coaches were an anchor for me when I was frantically searching for a Junior summer internship. I thought that I had started too late and all the positions I wanted would be closed. The career coaches oriented me through the process and gave me a solid foundation of resources, strategies, and clear objectives. Most importantly, they gave me confidence in myself assured me that I would find a great opportunity for the summer (and they were right!).
