Every week, Sara’s Picks bring you highlighted jobs, internships, and events that we want to draw extra attention to for students in the Healthcare and Clinical Research community. Check out this week’s spotlights below!

Internships:

  • Leadership Training Maternal Child Health Careers/ Research Initiative for Student Enhancement Undergraduate Program
    A program open to Juniors and Seniors who are interested in learning more about preventing and reducing health disparities. Interested in maternal and child health, reducing health disparities, and promoting social justice? Check this out.
  • American Red Cross Summer Internships
    American Red Cross interns are involved in projects critical to the day-to-day work of the American Red Cross organization, gaining an insider’s perspective on their humanitarian mission.
  • Personal Training Internship
    The FITWORKS internship program is designed to allow current students interested in kinesiology, exercise physiology, pre-physical therapy and pre-occupational therapy to observe the practical skills they will need to work successfully with clients in the future.
  • Neurological Surgery Summer Student Program: This is an 8-week Neurological Surgery Summer Student Program. This consists of a lab placement, attendance at Neurological Surgery Grand Rounds, OR observations, Friday talks by faculty to this group, and a final student presentation.
