Museum Studies & Education Intern:
The Museum Intern will work with the Education Team on the development and implementation of educational programming. Programming includes school tours, outreach, interactive exhibits, and special events. The intern may be asked to assist Educators teaching small groups of children or adults.
The intern may be asked to research topics relevant to educational programming. The intern may be assigned specific projects related to museum programming. The intern will become familiar with the museum operation and exhibits and be able to assist guests in the museum. A vital role of this internship is to provide guests of the museum with a positive experience. The intern may be asked to perform other related duties as assigned and required throughout their term.
At the completion of the term, the intern is required to deliver a presentation to The Works’ administration and staff reflecting on their experience.
