LyonsPlain Architecture and Design seeks a part-time/ full-time Marketing Coordinator with a background in art history, graphic design, marketing and/or architecture to join our small-but-growing firm in Westport, CT. Our ideal candidate is self-starting, proactive, resourceful, impeccably organized, and an excellent communicator.
A background and/or demonstrable interest in architecture, historic preservation, and/or art history is helpful. Specific duties will include:
– Support the principals in general administrative functions including basic filing, preparation of documents in Word and Excel and making travel arrangements.
– Basic phone reception duties
– Assist with preparation of presentations in In-Design
– Assist with preparation of reports including master plan and historic structures reports
– Manage social media accounts and website
– Maintain digital portfolio (Photoshop & In-Design skills a plus)
– Maintain large on-site physical architecture and decorative arts library
– Assist bookkeeper with preparation of monthly invoices
The ideal candidate will:
– Have a strong collaborative spirit and be able to easily navigate between work with administrators and architects
– Have exceptional research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills, including strong vocabulary, spelling and diction
– Have a strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, Photoshop and In-Design
– Be able to confidentially maintain sensitive staff and client information
– Be tech savvy with experience using various social media platforms including Linked-In, Instagram and Pinterest
