Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain designated areas in residential dorms and academic spaces, including classrooms, restrooms, common areas, and offices.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces, remove trash and recycling, and maintain supplies.
- Perform tasks such as washing windows, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning restrooms.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols, as well as any special instructions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other staff members as needed.
Working Conditions:
- This is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
- The position requires the ability to work with cleaning agents and chemicals in a safe and responsible manner.
- This is a 40 hour per week job with some schedule flexibility.
