This position requires good organizational skills to meet deadlines and proficiency in writing. A great candidate will have some experience in grant writing and/or fundraising, however, training will be provided on our fundraising systems (iWave and FoundationSearch) plus there will be an initial time period to guide a candidate in the understanding of our funding needs.
– Grant Writers strive to receive funding from different organizations and individuals by researching, drafting, and submitting proposals.
– Grant writer is responsible for discovering grant opportunities and can assist in building and maintaining relationships with funders, donors, and others within the community.
– Grant writer can help to design a year-end campaign and work on developing new projects for fundraising.
This can be a remote position and can turn into a part-time or full-time paid position based on performance.
