Stocks and bonds affect your daily life even if you don’t own any securities. Is your credit card interest payment going up? The bond market will tell you that. Will your company be in a position to give you a raise? The markets will help you answer that question. Understanding how pertinent these concepts are is the first step in learning to invest in the markets. By completing this program, you will be able to:
Understand the foundations of the bond market and how its changes can increase or decrease the prices of goods and services we buy every day
Describe the various stock and commodity markets and their effect on the general economy
Discuss how macroeconomic policy influences the markets and our life
