Twilio Essentials Unit 2: Programmable Voice

The telephone has evolved so much in recent decades. This course explores the next phase in that evolution and introduces you with how to build Programmable Voice applications with Twilio. Learn how to use the API to build an IVR, Interactive Voice Response. Find out how to gather input from users on a phone call using dual-tone modular frequency (DTMF). Generate outbound calls using the CLI in Twilio, as well as troubleshooting common errors, monitoring call status, and documenting associated data. Plus, review and practice responding to incoming calls, text-to-speech, playing sound files, collecting information from callers, submitting responses to web applications, and creating new outbound calls.
