Luke Olmstead ’27 – Global Commerce & Data Analytics

Originally, the idea of spending my fall break on the Journey Program rather than going home seemed daunting. However, looking back on my trip, I couldn’t be happier that I made that decision. The scenery of the Mohican lodge was absolutely stunning, setting up the perfect backdrop for a memorable weekend focused on reflection and connection. Throughout our career workshops and small group discussions, I gradually gained more and more confidence in my future as I was able to materialize my goals and passions, using them to conceptualize all the potential paths ahead of me. As the weekend came to a close and we watched the sunset over the lake, I realized I had a renewed motivation to build the future we were designing in our workshops. As I returned to campus, I carried with me a newfound sense of direction and an eagerness to continue building the foundations of my future. I’m grateful for this opportunity and the Knowlton Center’s commitment to supporting their students’ futures and success, making my long weekend both memorable and transformative.

Ashlisha Sharma-Parsai ’27 – Biochemistry

Throughout the program, I learned so much about myself, my career goals, and what it takes to turn those goals into reality. One of the best parts of the experience was having dedicated time for reflection. There’s something special about stepping away from daily distractions and being in such a peaceful environment. Mohican State Park was the perfect setting for this, it gave me the space to think more deeply about my future, and I walked away with a clearer sense of where I want to go and how to get there. Overall, the Journey Program left me feeling more confident, connected, and ready for the next steps in my career. For anyone considering this opportunity, I highly recommend it. The skills, friendships, and inspiration you gain are truly invaluable.

PJ Suppes ’26 – PPE
