David’s Picks: Jobs & Internships – Spring Break Edition

Every week, David’s Picks bring you highlighted opportunities in the Marketing, Sales, & Communication Community. This week features several jobs and internships recently posted to Handshake.

Jobs:

  • Nationwide – Territory Consultant – Internal Wholesaler B2B: As a Territory Consultant, you’ll proactively seek out prospective financial professionals to introduce Nationwide and our products through a consultative selling process. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your sales aptitude and partner with experienced wholesalers to support the business unit sales goals.   • Cognigy – Sales Development Representative: This SDR position was sent to the Knowlton Center from a Denison Young Alum. Currently, the position is remote, but will eventually be a hybrid position located in Boston, MA. Cognigy is a technology firm that is rapidly growing and just received Series B funding. This role will focus on developing new business for the company.

Internships:

  • Kohl’s – EComm & Digital Merchandising Intern: Develop selling strategies and tactics across all Kohl’s digital channels to provide the best digital customer experience while driving sales through strategic site merchandising, optimizing internal search and product recommendations and analyzing customer data.
  • Kerry – Summer Marketing Intern: As a marketing intern, you will get exposure to five core functions of marketing: marketing communications, marketing insights, strategic marketing, brand marketing and customer marketing. Although you will be assigned a dedicated role on one of the marketing function teams, you will work on cross-functional projects and stretch assignments with your fellow interns and team members to ensure a well-rounded experience.
  • ScottsMiracle-Gro Company – Omni Channel Sales Intern: The eCommerce Sales Intern will be responsible for supporting some of our major omni-channel accounts such as Walmart, Lowes, and Home Depot. He or she will gain a unique understanding of how both in-store and online programs come to life across multiple portfolios of business. These accounts have high visibility within the organization and collaborate with every business unit.
