Nichols Scholarship Fund Available for Qualified Internships

Denison students (of all majors) can apply for history internships and receive financial support from the Nichols Scholarship Fund. The following internships qualify for the Nichols Scholarship. Archives Internship-Ohio History Connection
Under the direction of the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center Archivist, the intern will assist with all aspects of archives collections management including the documentation, management, movement, and care of the permanent archives collections and loan materials.

Newark Earthworks Interpretive Internship-Ohio History Connection
The Newark Earthworks Interpretive Internship will support the Cultural Resources Division/Historic Sites and Museums Department on specific projects related to the interpretation of Newark Earthworks, including its place in the World Heritage Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks sites.

Corporate Archives Internship-Proctor & Gamble
The Archive Intern will assist the Senior Archivist in collecting, preserving, and sharing P&G’s legacy of over 184 years, serving as a catalyst to inspire a passionate and engaged P&G employee community.

Community Centennial Steward Intern-Greening Youth Foundation
Conduct research at Wilberforce University, Central State University, Greene County Historical Society, Greene County Archives, and the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural to help direct exhibit development.

Museum Experience Operations
Have a love of dinosaurs, storytelling, steamboats, trains, space, local history, animals, creative thinking, and problem-solving? Engage with these and more! Working the museum experiences team, interns will facilitate with guest experiences and behind-the-scenes experiences.
