Join us for a trek to Xavier’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at their Columbus location on February 10th to learn about this healthcare pathway. At Xavier, a nursing career is closer than you think. Building on your existing BA or BS degree, the Accelerated BSN program can prepare you for registered nurse licensure in just 16 months. During this short trek, you will hear from Xavier BSN faculty, learn about program requirements, and explore the nursing labs. CLIMB: Biomedical Research and Introduction to Medical Careers Internship- Webb Waring The Webb-Waring Center based CUSP Program trains diversity and non-diversity undergraduate students using an innovative, integrated biomedical research and medicine approach for 8 summer weeks at the University of Colorado Medical School on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. Paid and housing provided.
Granville Township EMT – The GTFD Denison Internship Program will include training and on the job experiences as an EMT. The selected intern will receive a stipend from the Denison Internship Program (regardless of need) and can live in on-campus housing.

The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine will host two in-person summer programs in 2022. The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF)program and the Summer Scholars program. SURF is a six-week program from May 27 – July 8, 2022, that provides a wide variety of summer research opportunities for undergraduate students interested in careers in medicine and research. The deadline for application is February 1, 2022. Summer Scholars is a five-week academic experience from May 27 -July 1, 2022, for underrepresented, or educationally or economically disadvantaged students to grow personally and be challenged professionally. The program replicates the experience of a first-year OU-HCOM medical student. The deadline for application is February 15, 2022.
