Join the Knowlton Center for Career Exploration on a trek to the Ohio History Connection in Columbus, Ohio to learn about internship opportunities and explore Ohio‘s History. The visit will include a tour of the Ohio History Museum and Collections, overviews of departments hosting internships including Operations and Programming, State Historic Preservation, Historic Sites, and IT. Internships with Ohio History Connection are possible in a variety of areas including communications, curatorial, archival, collections management, museum operations, education program support, and interpreting. Registration is required. Transportation and lunch at the Ohio Village will be provided.

Please Note:  The Knowlton Center does not endorse missing class for an event. Students are responsible for contacting faculty for approval if they will miss class to participate.

9:00-10:00 am Meet at Knowlton Center and Depart for Ohio History Connection
10:00-10:30 am Museum Tour
10:30-11:00 am Operations and Programming Overview
11:00-12:30 pm State Historic Preservation Office Overview
12:30-1:00 pm Lunch at the Ohio Village Café
1:00-2:30 pm Collections Tour
2:30-2:45 pm Historic Sites Overview
2:45-3:00 pm IT Department Overview
3:00pm-4:00 pm Travel back to campus
